Degreeinfo's Recommends - BOTH ON PROBATION
Degreeinfo's Recommends - BOTH ON PROBATION -- Posted by Roy Tumak on 01-13-04 03:07
To the uninitiated,
Degreeinfo is a place where you won't find any high-profile mentors,
no VP's, no real professors, no engineers, but a community of loners
with questionable background and achievement, who likes to pat each
other on the back and say "yeah, the Columbia Pacific, Fairfax, and
Greenwich (all unaccredited) degrees are shams and your Charter Oak
degree is actually worth something."
It's about time that the following substandard schools be
investigated. Funny how those degreeinfo clowns have always
recommended Touro
and Union degrees. It's saddening to know how bad these students got
ripped off thanks to the degreeinfo experts.
1)Touro College (affiliated with the Touro International University)
ON Probation by the New York Board of Regents for substandard
academics.
2)Union Institute and Universities
ON Probation by the Ohio Office of Degree Authorization for
substandard doctoral programs. Perhaps now we know why Rich was quick
to pull his "dissertation" off Proquest.
What's funnier is that the usual Touro recommenders in Degreeinfo are
saying that they've NEVER recommended or endorsed Touro. So if that's
not advice that they've been giving, one wonders what is. It's
starting to sound to me those "experts" are beginning to blame those
who took their advice, pulling another John Bear on Columbia Pacific.
One only has to take a peak at the Touro threads at degreeinfo, you
already see the usual "experts" backing off and taking their "words"
back. The blame is again placed on those who were stupid enough to
take their advice. These bunch of highly trained puppies are already
attacking each other and throwing the once-hopeful Touro in the trash
can with Union.
Nice!!!

Why am I not surprised?
Remember their patron saint received his degree from Union and got a
job as a truck driver.

Really? There are some genuine faculty that post on the site... How
about Tony Pina, Professor Kennedy, George Gollin and Andy Borcher -
aren't they "real professors"?
By the way - these guys actually tell you their names and you can
verify who they are. Roy Tumak? You're invisible on the net except
for this newsgroup. Who are you? Who do you work for?

I heartily agree - and in fact they are under scrutiny from their
accreditors. That's what happens when a school is regionally
accredited. State accredited schools (especially in states like
Wyoming, Hawaii, etc.) don't face anywhere near the challenge that RA
school do. This is especially the case when the RA school also has an
active state regulator like Ohio.
Funny how some of the SA schools you sponsor run from state to state
as laws get tightened....

Junkman- you forgot about Professor Rich Douglas, who's now teaching
at the Virginia International University-UNACCREDITED.
