I would apprecaite any comments about the Fielding Graduate Institute in
Santa Barbara, especially from someone who has attended the school.

I am also interested in Fielding and am considering applying to their
Ph.D. clinical psychology program. That program has local "cluster
meetings" all over the country in which you gain face to face contact
with professors and get various types of hands on training. These occur
monthly from what I understand. On Feb 7th I attended a local cluster
meeting anad found it to be quite interesting and had the opportunity to
meet several students. The local cluster meeting was quite collegial.
The students all stated that they loved the program and that Fielding was
a highly "student oriented" school. They told me that the admissions and
orientation process can be quite overwhelming at times. There is a week
long orientation and planning meeting in Santa Barbara called OPS which
is made doubly difficult because the INstitute is located on the beach!
:) However, they all stated that the total Fielding experience has been
enriching. The biggest complaint the students told me was that they
wished they had more hours in the day to study! I came away impressed!
