A second diploma mill endorsed by Rich Douglas
A second diploma mill endorsed by Rich Douglas -- Posted by Douglas the Clown on 03-04-04 21:41
It is indeed unfortunate to see Mr. Douglas having been banned from:
1)the then-distancedegree.net
2)collegehints
3)distancelearn.about.com
It is even more unfortunate, and tiring, indeed, to see Mr. Douglas
bad-mouthing these free and resouceful discussion forums, despite the
fact that he continued posting his gospel right upto to the minute he
was banned. A case of sour-grapes, indeed.
However, let's not forget that Mr. Douglas touted himself as an
"unpaid research assistant/Ph.D. candidate at the defunct diploma mill
Monterrery Institute of Graduate Studies (MIGS)
And oh, tapdancing and lying won't change history.
Hear it straight from the horse's mouth:

You may wish to consider the Monterrey Institute for Graduate Studies,
a
subsidiary of the Center for University Studies, Monterry (Mexico).
Degrees are
completed via independent study using a learning contract. Although
the degree
programs are quite structured in terms of required core competencies,
you will
still have flexibility in designing your own concentration(s). The
Center for
University Studies is recognized by the Ministry of Mexico, but any
international student should ensure the degree would be acceptable and
useful in his or her own situation. The url is www.degree.com
State universities are not known for offering distance-learning
doctorates, so
no joy there. The most well-established short-residency programs in
the U.S.
include The Union Institute, Fielding Institute, U. of Sarasota,
Capella U., and the recently established and accredited Touro
University International. Good luck!
Rich Douglas
Research Assistant
Monterrey Institute for Graduate Studies.
