High School Education only , DL for me ?

I am in my 30s and have only a high school education. I have been looking
into DL as a possible way to get a degree. I am confused over why schools
offering online degrees are not more up front about background
requirements for various degree programs. Is it at all realistic for
someone to get a degree in Computer Science or Networking with no college
credits to start with ??

I don' t think it's realistic to study comp sci or networking form home.
Comp sci is deep and unless your a natural at math & programming don't even
think of doing this distance.
Take a couple of courses at a local junior college to see what it's all
about.
I don't know where you're from but the job market in the US is pretty bleak
for high-tech talent. Don't bet the farm on this.
