Need Advice in what I see as a "special" circumstance

Need Advice in what I see as a "special" circumstance -- Posted by Rich on 10-20-04 16:18

I graduated from a technical school in 1993, with 67 credits and a 4.0
GPA. I have been employed in my field (programmer / network <<< I am
a CNE also) ever since.

I worked for IBM, Sprint and now the government and have made 6
figures for the past 7 years. I have received numerous awards from
all of my employers for my work on high level projects.

Now: I have been planning all along to try to get into Thomas Edison,
I even enrolled and started my portfolio in hopes of them accepting
some or most of my credits.

As I am ready to do this now I started checking out this site and
other college sites, for all of my options. Then a discovery of
amazing proportions is made.

The technical school I graduated from closed the doors this past
August. At the time of closure they had 92 active students. A deal
was struck between the old school (ACCSCT Accredited) and a nearby
college (RA Accredited) to transfer the 92 with the option of
transferring all their credit too!

Wow! I thought! Here is my chance at last! But after calling the
dean several times I am told nope, was a one time deal...

What do any of you think I should do?

BTW..thanks to many of you here for saving me from Regis!

Thanks for your time....
