Are you suggesting that attempting to resolve dufferences between
people and nations WITHOUT resorting to bloodshed is *funny*?

We saw it on 9/11, we saw it in Afgahnistan and we are seeing it now
in Iraq.
Hell! We see it everyday on our streets, in our homes and even in our
schools.

What can I say? Your refusal to understand the darker side of human
nature is simply astounding.
You're looking for another way? Keep looking! It isn't going to
happen. They will say all the right things, then stab us all in the
back. they aren't interested in peace. They are interested in the
destruction of all 'infidels'.
The only thing that we could possibly do to provide peace without
violence is to all fall over dead -- or maybe convert to Islam. Death
would be preferable.

What?!!! You are saying "they all" want our destruction? who exactly do
you mean by "they all" ? Do you mean all of the people who follow, as
Bush puts it "the evil one"? I'm not quite sure of that. Couldn't it be
that some are forced by fear, some by ignorance, but certainally not
ALL by hatred. "they all" is really too broad of a statement. Most
would have been a more accurate word. oh, just so you know... By saying
some are looking for a better way, that person didn't say it would be
easy, they didn't say everyone was looking for this better way, they
merely stated that SOME are. So they know, perhaps better than you, the
dark side of human nature, because after all, that's what they're
fighting. You are the surprisingly ignorent one (no offense meant). I
would suggest that you stop opening your mouth before you choke on your
foot....suffication is not a pleasant death I understand... -JRD

Jesus showed us the Chritian way is a non violent way, but he did not
rule out the justified use of force when required.
It was that thinking that justified the various Crusades.
