Gnawing Stomach
Gnawing Stomach -- Posted by Owlman on 01-17-04 21:50
I have GERD and have been treated very successfully with Prilosec for
maybe 5 years or so. Lately, I've been finding that my stomach will
start gnawing, just like I'm hungry, but I shouldn't be hungry, since
I'm eating regularly. It causes me to seek out food incessantly and I'm
trying to lose wait. I also wake up now periodically during the middle
of the night with this feeling and it's keeping me awake.
Prilosec has worked great for me, and I haven't returned to the kind of
stomach problems I had prior to treatment. This is something new. Has
my Prilosec grown ineffective? Do I need a larger dose? I currently
take 20 mg once a day.
Thanx for your help.
