"Advancing To Universities" A Coca-Cola Initiative - ArtÃculo Breve

The Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF), the nation's leading provider of college scholarships for Hispanic Americans, announced recently that The Coca-Cola Foundation will fund a first-of-its-kind scholarship initiative entitled "Advancing to Universities". The initiative is dedicated to helping community college graduates continue their higher education at a four-year college, and ultimately achieve a bachelor's degree.
At a check presentation ceremony held in conjunction with the Hispanic Scholarship Fund's Board of Directors meeting in New York, HSF President and CEO Sara Martinez Tucker said, "Today, The Coca-Cola Foundation helps the HSF take one step closer to achieving its mission of doubling the percentage of Hispanics who earn college degrees from 9% to 18% by 2006.

"Mr." Douglas studied with John at one school, Union Institute and
University. Dr. Bear served as a member of "Mr." Douglas' doctoral
committee.
Dr. Bear graduated from Michigan State, not Michigan. Certainly this
difference is obvious.
