KC Distance Learning Names Keith Oelrich Chief Executive Officer; Executive Joins KinderCare Learning Centers Subsidiary

KinderCare Learning Centers, Inc. has added a new member to its executive team. Keith Oelrich has been named President and Chief Executive Officer of KC Distance Learning, Inc., a subsidiary of KinderCare Learning Centers, Inc.

Oelrich replaces Dr. Gerald Burns.

Prior to his association with KC Distance Learning, Oelrich served as President and C.E.O. of Apex Learning, founded by Paul Allen and a leader in the K-12 virtual school market. He has held other high technology sector executive positions at the Speedyclick Division of Shopnow.com, Mirror Software Corporation, and McCaw Cellular. Oelrich holds a B.A. in economics from the University of Washington and an M.B.A from Cornell University.

About KC Distance Learning

Based in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, KC Distance Learning has two business units: Keystone National High School, which offers a complete accredited high school program available in both correspondence and online formats; and the Learning and Evaluation Center, which provides subject extension credit make-up courses.
