NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 9, 2003

TransMedia the leading innovator in online digital media management and collaboration solutions announces that New York University's School of Continuing and Professional Studies (NYU SCPS) has selected TransMedia and their flagship product, Colaborata to provide a secure, online distance learning solution for their multimedia files. "Universities and other educational customers are a natural fit for our products as audio, video and images are becoming as commonplace as documents in the classroom and more and more students are working remotely. We are very excited to provide NYU SCPS students, faculty and administrators with entirely new and highly dynamic instruments to access, manage and preview multimedia files," said Donald Leka, Chairman and CEO of TransMedia. "Furthermore, our education customers can count on the fact that they have a solution that is comprehensive, scalable and cost-effective moving forward" added Mr. Leka.

"We selected TransMedia's Colaborata because it combines high speed audio and video streaming with universal cross-platform compatibility for our students and faculty to preview and manage multimedia course materials. Tens of thousands of users are already using this system," said Sean Jameson, Chief Information Technology Officer for NYU SCPS. "Implementation was fast and painless because TransMedia's products require no software or hardware installation. Our users were up and running in no time."

Colaborata(TM) is a secure customizable extranet application that seamlessly interfaces with university intranets and is accessed through any standard Internet browser.
