Sao Paulo Office Confirms OneTouch Commitment to Geographic
Expansion in Latin American Markets
OneTouch Systems, whose interactive distance learning (IDL) solutions increase the capacity for organizations to train and communicate, today announced the opening of OneTouch Brazil in Sao Paulo. The office will pursue new business opportunities and provide in-depth, on-the-ground support to the growing OneTouch customer base in key Latin American markets. Pedro Silvestre, formerly in charge of all Latin American operations for OneTouch, has been appointed to direct daily operations for OneTouch Brazil.
"OneTouch is clearly the interactive distance learning leader in Latin America, as illustrated by our recent contract signing with Banco da Amazonia S.A., now deploying OneTouch technology to provide interactive virtual training to thousands of its employees throughout Latin America," said Dennis Bertken, OneTouch chairman and CEO. "Some of our largest multinational customers including Ford and General Motors have a strong presence in Latin America. Our Brazilian facilities will ensure that OneTouch delivers the highest level of service and attention to detail to all of our customers in this important economic region."
OneTouch secured its first Brazilian customer in 2002, establishing a customer base that has grown steadily since that time. The company also has customers in Argentina, Chile, Mexico, Ecuador and Peru. The new Sao Paulo office will offer a full array of OneTouch products and services, including OneTouch solutions that enable presenters or remote experts to reach any number of participants, delivering visually-rich, consistent content in a timely and cost-effective manner over any broadband network.
"We will expand our market share by promoting the benefits of interactive distance learning throughout Brazil," said Pedro Silvestre, managing director of the new OneTouch office in Sao Paulo. "Our target markets are those sectors that will benefit most from implementing more cost-effective methods of training employees across great distances. This includes government, education, multi-national manufacturing and services firms. We will continue to partner with Latin American businesses and integrators with expertise in these focused markets."
OneTouch technology reduces the cost, complexity and logistics of providing training to large numbers employees or students in different locations. It delivers full-motion video, full-duplex audio and two-way data interaction over any broadband network, providing a highly interactive virtual learning environment at any number of remote sites. Trainees use interactive touchpads or desktop PCs to communicate with a presenter, who may take advantage of a wide variety of audiovisual materials, including Microsoft PowerPoint(TM) slides, Web pages, software, and other visually rich training aids. OneTouch technology also allows presenters to deliver pre-tests and post-tests and use questions or quizzes throughout a training session to measure and monitor learning achievement. This process can be accomplished from a single location and a single server, and sessions may be captured for on-demand replay at a later time.

It's indeed unfortunate to see Mr. Douglas squealing like a stuck pig
because he's bitter that he's banned from spreading his gospel
elsewhere.
Here's a picture of this Union loser, busy telling you that your
degree is useless and he says he has no time for research.
