U.S. Robotics makes analogue-to-ISDN transition simpler - Courier I-Modem 28,800bps fax modem - Networking: WANs - Brief Article - Product Announcement

SKOKIE, Ill. - U.S. Robotics Inc. has announced the Courier I-Modem with ISDN/V.34, the first product available as part of the company's ISDN strategy. An ISDN terminal adapter with an integrated V.34 modem, the Courier I-Modem eases the transition from analogue to ISDN. Users can take advantage of increased bandwidth without sacrificing analogue data and fax capabilities.
With list prices ranging from $595 to $895 (U.S.) depending on configuration and form factor, the Courier I-Modem is suited for Internet access; telecommuting; high-speed file exchange; medical imaging; remote LAN access; router backup; long-distance learning; and, videoconferencing.
