NETWORK-BASED VIDEO delivery system from Litton Network Access Systems offers MPEG-2 video encoding and decoding of affordable, broadcast video for moderated conference and distance learning applications. The CAMVision-2 MPEG-2 Video Encoder/Decoder for ATM and Ethernet networks provides broadcast-quality video at reduced bandwidth by compressing video up to 100:1. The codec allows for customers with ATM switches or Ethernet switches (or hubs) to easily integrate video into their current infrastructure. The CAMVision-2 product line can support an array of video sessions from point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, multicast, and continuous presence. The rack-mountable unit has Web, SNMP, and Telnet network management capabilities.
